Recruitment of Group C is done by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) in the country, there are 19 in number and all control over it of Railway Recruitment Control Board of the Ministry of Railways. These RRBs manage the recruitment process of the personnel in the zones. They are responsible for inviting applications in the technical and non technical jobs in the Group C.

Non Technical jobs Indian railway: Government jobs for the post of Clerks, Assistant Station Masters, TC – Ticket Collectors etc.  The age criteria for these posts is within the limits of 18 to 27 years for reserve category it’s according to rule.
